Last night Michael launched Link-Up,\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>an initiative set up by Warners Solicitor\u00e9s to provide networking opportunities for young professionals and associates,\u00a0at an event hosted by Zed Music Caf\u00e9<\/a>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

First he congratulated Zoe at the Zed Music Caf\u00e9<\/em><\/strong> for taking a huge step and setting up her own business and for hosting the event.<\/p>\n

Michael said: \u00a0“Zoe’s business is one of the 750,000 more businesses than there were five years ago. \u00a0If we cast back to 2010 that is a remarkable change.\u00a0 Back then our economy was in trouble, with a budget deficit second only to Greece. \u00a0The huge numbers of people starting a business has been a surprising feature of our economy since then. \u00a0 And contrary to what some might say, this is a choice people have made because they have spotted an opportunity and have the confidence to pursue it.\u00a0 It isn\u2019t something borne of necessity.<\/p>\n
