Commenting on this week’s strike on Southern rail services, Michael said:
“I deeply sympathise with my constituents who are affected by the strike on Southern services this week.
This needless industrial action, which has nothing to do with jobs or safety, must end. The huge pressure it is putting on other services means that far too many passengers are suffering.
I urge all parties to come to an agreement as soon as possible.”
